Modi Yamraj for terrorist

New Delhi, Dec 2: Taking strong exception to Congress president Sonia Gandhi dubbing Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as ''mauth ka saudagar'' (merchant of death), the BJP today said Ms Gandhi should realise that Mr Modi is 'Yamraj' (god of death) for the terrorist and 'Yuvraj'(crown prince) for the nationalists.

BJP's vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the Congress supremo should know that the soft policies of the Congress and the UPA towards terrorists organisation had resulted in proliferation of the terrorists modules, due to which the organisations all over the country are becoming capable of trigerring attacks at their will.

In Uttar Pradesh, more than half of the districts have become safe heavens for the terrorists, thanks to the Congress policies which linked religion with vote bank by taking measures like repeal of POTA and delaying the implementation of the Supreme Court order on Mohd Afzal, the condemned prisoner in the Parliament attack case, he said.

''This kind of attitude of the Congress has resulted in spread of terror accross the country,'' Mr Abbas alleged.

As Mr Modi had implemented strong anti-terrorism policies in Gujarat, there was no place for terrorist forces, the BJP vice-president said.

''Mr Modi is 'yuvraj' for the nationalist and 'yamraj' for the terrorists and the people of the state, including Muslims could repose faith in his leadership and the vicious attack of the Congress President would recoil on her party and will not be of any use for the ongoing elections'' he added.
