World's longest towel to be exhibited in Mumbai

Mumbai, Nov 30: The world's longest towel, measuring 419 meters and weighing 500 kgs, will be on display at Inorbit mall at Malad here from December 1 to 25.

The towel is spun by leading textile maker Welspun Group, who claims that the towel is the largest in the world.

According to group vice chairman and managing director Mr Bal Krishan Goenka, this towel has already been recorded in the Limca Book of records.

The towel carries colours of the Indian tricolour.
