Black explosive, 4 UBGL grenades recovered


Jammu, Nov 30: Security forces recovered one kg black explosive, four UBGL grenades and two detonators besides a large quantity of arms and ammunition, from a militant hideout in twin bordering districts of Poonch and Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir, official spokesperson said today.

Acting on a tip-off, the security forces unearthed the hideout erected by militants under boulders in Potha area of Poonch's Surankote area yesterday, the spokesperson said.

Four UBGL grenades, one kg black explosive, two detonators, four LPG cylinders and one RPG round were recovered from the hideout, which was destroyed on the spot by the forces, he added.

Another militant hideout was busted at Samrote in Rajouri's Kandi area, where security forces seized five hand grenades, 70 AK rounds, one detonator, one antenna of wireless set and one torch.

India, Pak Auditors General discuss cooperation

New Delhi, Mar 13: India and Pakistan today agreed to strengthen cooperation between the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI) of the two countries in areas of public audit and accounts. Pakistan's Auditor General Mohammed Yunis Khan, currently on a five-day visit o India, met Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) Vijayendra Kaul and discussed with him ways to strengthen cooperation between the SAIs of the two countries. Mr Khan who arrived here yesterday, also met senior officials.....
