Bright future for animation films: Dhuvani

Hyderabad, Nov 18: Dhuvani Desai, whose animation film 'Manpasad' (Perfect Match Maker) had been nominated for nine International film festivals, including Hollywood, has said there was a great future for animation films in the country.

The film was based on the 17th Century practice in Uttar Pradesh, that encouraged unmarried girls to do ''Sanjhi paintings'' to get a suitable groom. It was considered a ritual worship and was originally practiced as one of the traditional methods of creative visualization to fulfil one's wishes.
