Bus hits into tree, 3 killed

Bareilly, Nov 17: At least three people were killed and two others severely injured when a bus carrying pilgrims hit into a roadside tree in Fareedpur area of the district this morning.

The accident occurred on the Lucknow-Delhi National Highway, when the driver of the bus, on its way from West Bengal to Ajmer, lost control over its wheels.

The bus rammed into a roadside tree, killing three people on the spot.

The deceased included Feroz and Durga, while the identity of third pilgrim was yet to be recognised. Two others, who sustained injuries in the incident, had been admitted to hospital.

Bareilly, July 4: At least four persons were killed and fifteen others received severe injuries in a bus-tanker collision here late last night, police said today.The mishap took place when an ill-fated tanker collided with a speeding Uttarakhand state transport bus.The incident claimed four lives, including the tanker driver.The injured had been admitted to hospital, where condition of some was stated to be critical.UNI.....

Lucknow, July 2: At least six people were killed and over 12 others grievously injured after a speeding Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus collided head-on with another bus in the Tilhar area of Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
