Bangalore, Nov 17: A Bomb threat in IBM premises here turned out to be a hoax after police searched the building thoroughly today.
Police said at about 1230 hrs telephone call was received from an unidentified person stating that a bomb has been placed in the premises and would explode immediately.
Tension prevailed for some time as all the employees were asked to vacate the premises and police with the help of dog squad conducted a search and concluded the threat was hoax.
Though all the telephones in the office have caller IDs installed, the culprit has made call on the telephone which did not had such facility.
Police have registered a case and investigating.
