No online CAT exams for IIMs in 2007

Ahmedabad, Oct 27: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad has said that there is no plan to conduct CAT online for 2007 and asserted that the Common Admission Test will be held on November 18 as planned earlier.

In a statement, the IIM-A said that it had no plans to discontinue the Management Education Programme (MEP). It said that the 32nd MEP will be conducted on November 18 as scheduled earlier.

The IIM issued a clarification on reports that the IIMs are planning to hold CAT online as well as IIM-A has decided to discontinue the MEP.

New Delhi, Feb 25: Bharti Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Bharti Enterprises, today launched 'Bharti Scholarship Scheme' in 30 premier institutions across the country.The 'Bharti Scholarship Scheme' will help academically bright students, who are pursuing higher education but have limited financial resources for the same.
