Lioness attacks forester at Devadiya Safari Park

Junagadh, Oct 27 (UNI) A lioness attacked a forester last evening in Devadiya Safari Park under the Gujarat Forest Department, 65 km from here.

The forester, Amirbhai Dabhi (45), was busy mingling with visitors in the park when the lioness suddenly pounced on him. After about ten minutes of struggle, and with people throwing mud on the animal to distract it, Dabhi was able to free himself from the clutches of the animal.

Dhabi sustained injuries on his stomach and suffered an inch-deep gash on his right thigh. He has been admitted to the Junagadh hospital and is said to be out of danger.
