Satyam Q2 net at Rs 409 crores

New Delhi, Oct 25, 2007 : Software major Satyam Computer"s second quarter net profits stand at Rs 409 crore, a 28 per cent increase year-on-year.

The total income during the period under review stood at Rs 2,142.26 crore as against Rs 1,630.11 crore for the same period a year ago, translating into an increase of 31.42 per cent. The standalone profit of the company increased to 417.15 crore.

Satyam bags 4 major global deals

Hyderabad, July 17: Satyam a leading global consulting and IT solutions provider, today announced it recently bagged four major deals in Singapore, Australia and the UAE. Two of the deals from the Singapore Government are primarily outsourcing and IT services contracts, a company release said here. The company will also implement a ubiquitous Enterprise Financial Management solution to help the Emirates Bank achieve better efficiencies and control besides augmenting their business strategy.....
