Pak PM rejects foreign probe demand


Islamabad, Oct. 25, 2007: Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz have categorically rejected PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto"s demand to engage foreign experts in the process of investigations in the October 18 suicide attacks in Karachi.

Talking to reporters in Islamabad on Wednesday Shaukat Aziz said that the call for foreign investigators was "totally unnecesssary."

Pakistani opposition parties to boycott elections

Lahore, Nov 30: Pakistan's All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) has announced its decision to boycott the coming general elections. However, the grouping hinted at reviewing its decision if all the unconstitutional steps including sacking of the judges, were taken back before last date for withdrawal of nomination papers, The Nation newspaper reported.
