Silver, gold surge ahead on bullish advice

Mumbai, Oct 26: Spot silver and gold advanced further in the opening session as silver was up by Rs 350 per kg from its previous close of Rs 18,400 and gold by Rs 125 per ten gm from its previous close of Rs 9,825 owing to good demand, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the opening rates of spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade: Rs 18,750, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,950, Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold Rs 10,000.
