Kapurthala, Oct 26 (UNI) Western Railway won the 30th All India Railway Women Volleyball championship, which concluded at the Rail Coach Factory here yesterday, Western Railway won the championship by defeating Central Railway by 3-0 (25-19,25-20,25-21). New Delhi, Oct 26 (UNI) Assam Rifles became the second team to book a place in the main draw after they beat Jammu and Kashmir Bank 2-1 in a final qualification round match of the 120th Durand Cup football tournament here today. Akum Ao scored a brace (24th, 50th) for the winners while Emanuel (54th) reduced the margin for the J&K Bank in a keenly contested match at the Ambedkar Stadium. Ahmedabad, Oct 26 (UNI) Riding on brilliant knocks by opener Gautam Gambhir (73) and an unbeaten 82 by middle order batsman S Badrinath, India-Red set a huge target of 304 runs for India-Green in the second day-night match of the NPK Salve Challenger Trophy at the Sardar Patel Gujarat Stadium at Motera this evening.
