Police arrests 10 Myanmarese poachers from North Andaman

Port Blair, Oct 26 (UNI) The Andaman and Nicobar Police have arrested ten foreign poachers from the Sound Island of North Andaman.

Police got imformation that some Myanmarese poachers had been sighted in and around South Island . Following the tip off, an anti-poaching team of police proceeded to the area and arrested the poachers, Superintendent of Police, Andaman, Ashok Chand told UNI today.

A Myanmarese dinghy and other items had also been seized from the poachers .

''We have also recovered fishing equipments, diving glasses, a spare engine, HSD oil, rice, torches, plastic rope and wooden box with tools,'' Chand added.

The SP added that the poachers were being interrogated.

Bhattacharjee assures conducive tax structure for hospitality Ind.

CRPF starts de-stressing programme for its personnel

New Delhi, Oct 26 (UNI) The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has started a special training programme for its personnel, deployed in volatile areas, to educate and help them reduce their stress levels and frustration. Federal Bank rights issue priced at Rs 250

Kochi, Oct 26 (UNI) Federal Bank has fixed the price of its proposed rights issue at Rs 250 a share,a top official today said. Addressing the media here, Bank Chairman M Venugopal said "8.5 crore shareholders will get shares in the ratio of 1:1. The record date is November 12."
