Pakistan win toss, bat first v South Africa in 4th ODI

MULTAN, Oct 26 (Reuters) Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first against South Africa in the fourth one-day international today at Multan stadium.

Pacer Mohammad Asif returned to the home side after missing the first three matches of the series due to an elbow injury.

He replaced left arm pacer Sohail Tanvir, while left arm spinner Abdul Rehman also passed a fitness test after complaining of a groin problem.

South Africa made two changes, bringing in pacer Andre Nel and batsman Jean-Paul Duminy in place of Charl Langeveldt and Justin Kemp.

Pakistan lead the five-match series 2-1 after winning back-to-back matches in Lahore and Faisalabad.

Teams: South Africa: Graeme Smith (capt), Herschelle Gibbs, Jacques Kallis, AB de Villiers, Mark Boucher, Shaun Pollock, Albie Morkel, Johan Botha, Makhaya Ntini, Jean-Paul Duminy, Andre Nel. 12th man Justin Kemp.

CII moots skill development fund to meet manpower requirement

Russia launches Proton carrier rocket after the ban

Moscow, Oct26 (UNI) Russia has successfully conducted launch of an unmanned rocket carrying three Russian GLONASS navigation satellites from the Baikonur space center in Kazakhstan, the Federal Space Agency (Roskosmos) said today. The Proton K rocket, which has been on the launch pad since Monday, lifted off at 1305 hrs IST and entered low earth orbit eight minutes later.
