Mumbai, Oct 26 (UNI) Mahavitaran and M/s Crompton Greaves Ltd today signed Distribution Franchisee agreement for Civil Lines, Gandhibag, and Mahal divisions in Nagpur urban area.
Dr Ajay Bhushan Pandey, Managing Director of Mahavitaran, and Mr S M Trehan, Managing Director of CGL, signed the documents during a formal ceremony here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Pandey said the objectives of distribution franchisee were to reduce technical and commercial losses and improve consumer services. Mahavitaran had franchised Bhiwandi circle last year and the result of the experiment has been encouraging. Nagpur experiment too would prove successful, he hoped.
Mr Trehan stated that though the company is entering into electricity distribution business for the first time, it make every effort to stand to the expectations of the Mahavitaran and the consumers of Nagpur as well.
