Mumbai Income Tax to host cultural meet on October 29

Mumbai, Oct 26 (UNI) Mumbai Income Tax department has organised a sub-zonal cultural meet of the Central Revenue Sports Board (CRSB) at the Aaykar Bhavan here on October 29.

Officials and employees from the income tax, customs and central excise departments are taking part in the one-day event that will witness vocal and instrumental music, solo and group dances and drama in Hindi and regional langauges, a IT department spokesperson said today.

Those who are selected in this sub-zonal cultural meet will participate in zonal cultural meet of West Zone on November 21 and 22 next month.

Chief Commissioner of Mumbai Income Tax, Mala Ramakrishnan will be the chief guest at the event, the spokesperson said.

Romanian Economic Mission looking forward to trade pacts

Turkey calls for Iraq to hand over all PKK rebels

ANKARA, Oct 26 (Reuters) Turkey wants Iraq to hand over all members of the separatist Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) based in northern Iraq, Deputy Prime Minister Cemil Cicek said today. Unions should not be linked to political parties: SCRMU
