Mortar bombs recovered, hideout busted in Reasi

Jammu, Oct 26 (UNI) The troops of 51 Rashtriya Rifles busted a hideout and recovered a haul of ammunition including three mortar bombs in the Mahore tehsil of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources today said.

Sources told UNI that on specific information about the militant hideout in Shikari village of the Mahore Tehsil, the troops of 51 RR launched a search operation in the area and busted a hideout this afternoon.

''A dump of ammunition was recovered including three mortar bombs in the hideout, the sources said.

Meanwhile, besides three mortar bombs, three grenades of UBGL, 50 rounds of AK 47, 16 pencil cells, two injections, four anti-biotic bottles, anti-reactors, tincture bottles were recovered from the site, the sources added.
