Court allows Salman to undertake foreign visits

Jodhpur, Oct 26 (UNI) The Rajasthan High Court has allowed Bollywood Actor Salman Khan, who is facing trial in chinkara poaching case, to undertake foreign visits between November two and ten next.

The actor has moved application through his counsel, Hasti Mal Saraswat, before the high court judge Justice Govind Mathur seeking permission to leave India for holding stage show at Trinidad on November 3 and premiere of Hindi feature film 'Sanwaria' in Dubai on November on November 9.

The judge has granted him permission for undertaking foreign visits for the purpose.

Similar application was also moved before the trail court magistrate Dalpat Singh Rajpurohit and the same was also accepted by the court.

Three women injured in police-Maoist encounter

Belpahari, West Medinipur, Oct 26 (UNI) At least three women were critically injured when they came under a crossfire between Maoist guerillas and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Belparahi in West Medinipur, about 210 km west of Kolkata today, official sources said. The encounter between the rebels and CRPF, that began at 1330 hours, was still continuing as reports came in, District Magistrate N S Nigam said. UP Cabinet approves financial assistance for MLAs' kin
