Central Railways to operate 'Mega Block' on Sunday

Mumbai, Oct 26 (UNI) The Central Railways will operate a 'Mega Block' on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday.

All Up Harbour Line services between Panvel/Belapur and CST leaving Kurla from 1041 hrs to 1555 hrs will run via main line between Kurla and CST during the block period.

Down Harbour Line services to Bandra/Andheri leaving CST from 1043 hrs to 1540 hrs and Up Harbour Line services from Bandra/Andheri to CST leaving Bandra/Andheri 1036 hrs to 1549 hrs will remain suspended.

Down Harbour Line services from CST to Panvel/Belapur will run as per schedule.

Harbour Line passengers for Bandra/Andheri are allowed to travel via main line and Western Railway on Sunday from 1000 hrs to 1800 hrs only.

Down fast line services leaving CST from 0830 hrs to 1155 hrs will be diverted to Down slow line between Thane and Kalyan stations and will halt at all stations between Thane and Kalyan stations, a release said here today.

Belpahari, West Medinipur, Oct 26 (UNI) At least three women were critically injured when they came under a crossfire between Maoist guerillas and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Belparahi in West Medinipur, about 210 km west of Kolkata today, official sources said.
