Alchemy Capital Management opens office in Bangalore

Bangalore, Oct 26 (UNI) Portfolio management company Alchemy Capital Management has opened its office in the city today.

Chief Executive Officer of the company, K N Vaidyanathan said that the city had emerged as a very important business destination for the company. The exponential growth in the IT/BPO space coupled with the growing biotech industry had catapulted income levels of the people here, he said.

Alchemy Capital Management has delivered returns of 69 per cent compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) over the past five years against a BSE Sensex CAGR of 42 per cent during the period, a company release said.

Hardwar, Oct 26 (UNI) Two dreaded criminals were gunned down in a joint operation of Delhi police Crime Branch and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Hardwar police near Chandi Ghat under Shyampur police station of the district yesterday. 3111 children to be covered with mid day meal

Imphal, Oct 26 (UNI) The Centre has extended the mid day meal scheme to the Upper Primary Stage of Education effective from October 1 with the identification of 3479 Educationally Backward Blocks (EBBs) in 2007-08. The Scheme will cover about 1.7 crore children at upper primary stage in the country during the current year, official sources said. They said the Scheme would cover 3111 children at Upper Primary Stage in five EBBs in Manipur. The Centre released central assistance.....

Assam Rifles organising tour for Manipur children

Imphal, Oct 26 (UNI) About 25 students of Thoubal District Manipur will be proceeding on a National Integration Tour to New Delhi and Agra from November 1 to 17.
