Chennai, Oct 23:  Two time World champion Viswanathan Anand may pen his achievements in the form of a book, the newly-crowned world chess champion has indicated.

''I'll certainly give it a thought,'' Anand told newspersons in a brief chat after a glittering felicitation got up by All India Chess Federation(AICF) here last night, during which the guest of honour Indian cricket star Rahul Dravid said that somebody or Anand himself must bring out a book on the chess maestro's achievements and remarkable rise to the top.

''The Anand effect has achieved tangible results. You can see the impact he has created. Not many sportspersons have done it,'' the former India captain from Karnataka observed.

Dravid also said, ''It's a great contribution to Indian sports.'' A book about Anand, what it has taken him to get this far is long overdue. Someone must write it. In fact, Anand himself can do it,'' Dravid added.

AICF President N Srinivasan, whom Anand himself lauded, said Anand had made India a force in world chess and hoped that he would inspire chess players from Asia to emulate him.

Anand, who savoured every minute of the glittering felicitation accorded to him, acknowledged that he was overwhelmed, coming as it does after an equally spectacular reception to him when he arrived here for the first time after winning his second world crown in Mexico on September 29.

''I hope I can really win a few more tournaments and come back for more,'' he said, adding, ''this is as good as winning the world title.''
