Bharati to sell vessels for Rs 351 cr

New Delhi, Oct 11: Bharati Shipyard Ltd today said it will sell vessels to Shipping Corporation of India Ltd for Rs 351 crore. The companies will sign the contract on October 15, 2007, a company statement said.

These vessels will be constructed by using Havyard Design, which will be used for the first time for such vessels built in India. The design allows higher DWT and higher cargo carrying capacity compared to other 80 tonnes AHTSVs with similar dimensions.

Syscom inaugurates SIM card plant; invest Rs 100 cr

New Delhi, Jan 27: Eyeing the growing telecom market in the country, Syscom Corp Ltd today formally inaugurated a sim manufacturing plant in Noida SEZ in a joint venture (JV) with Germany-based Sagem Orga at an initial investment of Rs 100 crore.
