India beat Aussies in the 4th ODI

New Delhi, Oct. 8 2007: India won the closely fought fourth ODI against Australia by eight runs. Chasing a gigantic score of 292, Australia fell short of 8 runs and lost the match to India today at the sector 16 stadiums in Chandigarh.

Earlier, useful partnerships centered on Sachin Tendulkar's 79, and uncharacteristically wayward bowling from the Australian bowlers helped India pile up 291-4. Australia finished 283-7 with James Hopes remaining not out at 23.
