AP: Prohibitory orders clamped in city

Vijayawada, Oct 9: Prohibitory Orders has been promulgated in the city.

The orders under section 30/1861 of the Police Act, promulgated yesterday, would be in force till December 31, a release from the Police Commissionerate said here today.

As per the order, prior permission from the Commissioner of Police was needed for organising agitations, public meetings and rallies.
