New Safari Dicor launched in Kolkata

Kolkata, Oct 9(UNI) Adding a new look, Tata Motors announced the launch of a new Safari DICOR 2.2 VTT range in the SUV category here today.

The new vehicle was a thorough makeover of the Safari launched earlier providing more comfort and convenience.

Tata Motors Vice-President S Krishnan said the company would launch few more models before the next fiscal.

" The Safari 2.2 VTT Dicor is now getting new looks in the front and rear exteriors. Also the range now gets to tone beige interiors, stylish new day and night instrument panel and tubeless tyers with several other new features," he said.

With a price range starting from Rs 7.38 lakhs, the vehicle met full frontal crash safety norms of Europe and had off-roading capabilities, he said.

Mr Krishnan said altogether 16,000 Safari units had been sold in the country last year and the number of this vehicle produced till date was 69,000.

TNEB regulating power supply due to problems
