Larson bags 693 cr IOC deal for Koyali plant


Mumbai, Oct 9: Engineering and construction giant Larsen&Toubro has bagged Rs 693 crore Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) project order on Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) basis.

The project will enable IOC to set up Sulphur Recovery Plants as part of their Fuels Upgradation project at Koyali, Gujarat.

The deal includes sulphur recovery units along with associated facilities such as Amine Regeneration Unit, Sour Water Stripper&Tail Gas Treatment Unit for enhanced Sulfur recovery up to 99.9 per cent which would enable IOCL in the production of low sulphur clean fuels to meet regulatory requirements, a release said.

BT officials to hold talk on Satyam bidding

Mumbai, Apr 9: A team of senior officials from British Telecom (BT), which is a major shareholder in Tech Mahindra, are reportedly in India for talks over the issue of Satyam Computers acquisition by the company.“This indicates the seriousness of Tech Mahindra"s bid for Satyam," a company source said. However, the officials at Tech Mahindra are worried over Satyam's client loss that has happened over the past few months. Another concern is that of the liabilities the company.....
