Bangalore, Oct 9 (UNI) Kavveri Telecom Products Ltd, one of the leading manufacturers of antennas and Radio Frequency (RF) products, today acquired technology, patent and IPR of Base station antenna of erstwhile Sigma Wireless of Ireland from PCTEL of Chicago.
According to a release here today, the company, with the acquisition, strengthened its hold in the wireless industry.
The company manufactured Base Station antennas and accessories for GSM and CDMA operators. It also manufactured antennas for In-Building solutions (IBS), specialised antennas for defence sector and antennas for WiMAX at its facilities here.
Focus on quality products had enabled it to become the most favoured vendor for various RF products and antennas for many pan India GSM/CDMA operators and OEMs.
The latest acquisition gave the company access to customers and vendors of Sigma Wireless in Europe. The acquisition also brought into Kavveri's fold seven international patents.
