Iron ore to be utilised for new steel plant at Chatra : Paswan

Chatra, Oct 9 (UNI) Steel Minister Ramvilas Paswan today said a steel plant will be set up in this district to utilise the iron ore available in the area.

Addressing a gathering here, Mr Paswan said the Jharkhand government would also be requested to provide the land required for building the plant.

Speaking on the nuclear deal issue, Mr Paswan said the deal would embolden the country's energy sector and the steps taken by the Centre in this direction is appreciable.

Mr Paswan further said there was no threat to the Union government over the issue.

Lambasting the UPA backed Madhu Koda government of the state, the Union minister said corruption had increased manifold during the tenure of the present government.

Seaways Group inducts one more vessel
