Air Arabia to start services to Bangalore

New Delhi, Oct 9 (UNI) Air Arabia, the first international low-cost airline to fly to India, will begin services to Bangalore from October 15.

The flights will operate four times per week between Bangalore and the airline's hub in Sharjah.

Air Arabia connects Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Kochi, Mumbai, Nagpur and Thiruvanathapuram to the Gulf. The airline also started operations to Coimbatore on October 1. Bangalore is the ninth destination for the airline in India.

The frequency of flights is expected to increase by October-end, said Air Arabia's commercial director Kyle Haywood. ''Our rapidly expanding route destination network between India and the west Asia answers a growing need for passengers travelling between the two economically vibrant regions.'' Bangalore increases Air Arabia's total destinations to 37. Air Arabia has a fleet of ten Airbus A320 aircraft.
