Sachin injury not serious: Gloster

Chandigarh, Oct 8 (UNI) Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar sustained a knee injury while batting at the fourth ODI here today, following which he did not take the field during the entire Australia innings.

Sachin suffered from a strain on his knee during his 79-run innings today which set alarm bells ringing in the Indian dressing room.

However, Team India physio, John Gloster while revealing that ''Sachin suffered from a mild strain'' asserted that there was ''no serious concern as of now and he would be fit in time for the next game''. But he said that a final assessment on the recovery would be made in a day's time.

Oil prices dip under $79; firmer dollar weighs

Denmark says will not further boost Afghan troops

COPENHAGEN, Oct 8 (Reuters) Denmark has no plans to further boost the number of troops it has in Afghanistan as part of the International Security Assistance Force, Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen said today. Brown says UK government will not meet with Mugabe
