Refex Refrigerants revenue hikes to Rs 23.97 crore in Q3

Chennai, Oct 8 (UNI) City-based Refex Refrigerants Ltd, a leading refrigerant management solutions provider and BSE listed company, has announced that its quarterly revenue increased to Rs 23.97 crore, up by 48 per cent from 16.08 crore in Q2 of 2006-07.

Net profit increased to Rs 3.60 crore, up more than 320 per cent from the corresponding period last year, a company release here today said.

Refex Refrigerants had clocked a turnover of Rs 51.29 crore for the financial year (2006-07) with a net profit of Rs 3.91 crore.

The revenue expected for Q3 of 2007-08 was Rs 25 crore, while the entire revenue for the fiscal year was anticipated to be at least Rs 90 crore, the release added.

Silver, Gold down on weaker global advice

Mumbai, Oct 8 (UNI) Precious metals today closed lower with Silver declining by Rs 135 per kg and Gold by Rs 65 per ten gm in absence of fresh demand from ornament makers in view of discouraging advice from global markets, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said. Silver (.999 fineness) price was quoted below 18,000 mark and opened lower at Rs 17,995 per kg on thin buying support. Later, white metal drifted further lower and closed negative at Rs 17,920.....

Sesame expeller, rapeseed, nigerssed

Mumbai, Oct 8 (UNI) Prices of sesame expeller, rapeseed and kardi expeller oils along with nigerseed and kardiseed today drifted lower on thin bulk and retailer consumers demand, induced by bearish advice from producing centres like Gujarat, MP, and Karnataka, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange (BCE) said. However, groudnutseed and its oil along with sunflower refined oil recovered on lesser stocks arrivals from producing centres, traders added. Precious metals opens low

Mumbai, Oct 8 (UNI) Both the precious metals today resumed low as Silver slashed by Rs 60 per kg and gold by 25 per ten gm on lack of poor demand from ornament makers in view of bearish global advice, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said. Traders received a report from global market as Gold was flat on Monday, with trade thin due to holidays in Japan and the United States, and on caution ahead of US Federal Reserve minutes.....
