Panipat fire due to short circuit

Panipat , Oct 8 (UNI) Preliminary investigations in the yesterday's fire incident in a local textile factory have indicated that the fire broke out due to short circuit in an underground cable laid for taking illegal electricity supply.

As many as 11 industrial workers were killed in the fire that broke out at the textile factoty in the wee hours of yesterday.

However, the final opinion about the cause of the fire could be taken only after receiving the report from the forensic science laboratory, said Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Amit Kumar Aggarwal.

Jalandhar, Oct 8 (UNI) To control, rising crime graph in the city, police today started community policing scheme in association with general public. Nitco to invest Rs 80 crore to expand capacity
