New train's first run from New Delhi to Rohtak

Chandigarh, Oct 8 (UNI) The newly launched 4323/4324 Rohtak-New Delhi Express train went on its first journey from New Delhi to Rohtak railway station today.

The train was flagged off by the UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi from Rewari yesterday.

Rohtak M P Deepender Singh Hooda said the new train would be a boon for those travelling between Delhi and Rohtak.

On this occasion, a large number of passengers from Haryana, who were going to Rohtak thanked Mr Deepender Singh Hooda for the new rail service.

A Northern Railway spokesman said the train would depart from New Delhi at 1000 hrs and would reach Rohtak at 1200 hrs. On its reverse journey, it would leave Rohtak at 1445 hrs and reach New Delhi railway station at 1615 hrs.

Solan, Oct 8 (UNI) A Chandigarh school boy was killed and his five other friends were injured after their car veered off the road and fell into a gorge at Chakki Ka Mour on the Kalka-Shimla National Highway today, police sources said. Migrant labour killed as paddy thresher overturns

Fatehabad, Oct 8 (UNI) A migrant labourer was killed and four others injured when the paddy thresher on which they were sitting overturned near Hanspur village in the district today, police here said. According to reports, the victim Sunil Saha and twelve other migrant labourers were sitting on the thresher which was being pulled by a tractor. Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Oct 8 (UNI) Four people died and about 12 were injured, three of them seriously, when their bus overturned at Kota in area in this district, police said. Superintendent of Police Pradeep Gupta said the injured were admitted to hospital in Kota.
