Chandigarh, Oct 8: The qualifying match between India and Iran for Asia Women Football Cup 2008 will be played on October 20 in Gurgaon at Choudhary Devi Lal Stadium.
While stating this here today, working president of Haryana Football Association Rao Dan Singh said that the football ground for this international match was being prepared and boarding lodging arrangements for both the teams had been made.
According to Mr Singh, Haryana Football Association had decided to organise National Junior Football Championship from November 12 and it would be hosted by Haryana.
''The matches will be played in Gurgaon and Faridabad. About 30 teams from all over the country are expected to participate in this championship,'' he said and added that committees would be constituted for this purpose soon.
He informed that Haryana State Football Championship for under 19 years age group was scheduled to be held from October 12 to 15 at Bawal in Rewari district.
