Bible exhibition inaugurated

Tiruchirapalli, Oct 8: A seven-day bible exhibition organised by STL UK and Om Books India was inaugurated here today.

In a release here, Om Books India Regional Manager Jose Thomas said as many as 300 varieties of bibles and 10,000 titles on Christianity were available.

The bibles include the 'largest and longest' (weighing 97 kg with a lenght of 2,000 metre), water proof ones and the smallest bible which can fit in a matchbox.

Lonavala (Maharashtra), Dec 29: Yoga is not a religion but a health system, claimed Dr Satbir S Khalsa, a researcher with the Havard Medical School. Addressing the fifth International Conference on 'Advances in Yoga Research and Yoga Therapy' organised by the Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute here yesterday, he said increased stress among people due to overdose of information, fast changing lifestyles and higher level of expectations has made societies vulnerable to psycho-somatic disorders and yoga offers.....

Rameswaram (Tamil Nadu) Dec 1: One more case of religious offence has been filed against Controversial Tamil Actress Kushboo for hurting the sentiments of Hindus by sitting cross-legged with footwear before the 'Mupperum Deviyar' idols, at the Judicial Magistrate (JM) Court here. Hindu Munnani Local Leader S Kannan Siva filed the case at the JM Court here yesterday under Sections 295 and 295 (A) of the IPC relating to offences against religion.
