Ancient 'ashtdhatu' canon found

Morena, MP, Oct 8 (UNI) An ancient 'ashtdhatu' canon, weighing about 1.5 kg, has been recovered from forest near this district, police said.

Sub-Divisional Officer of Police Rajesh Mishra said policemen were chasing a jeep, which was fleeing after hitting a bicycle-rider, last evening.

About 3-4 jeep passengers threw the canon near Rajghat bridge and fled leaving the jeep behind. A bloodstained rod was seized from the jeep.

Vengsarkar warns senior players
