Wintry conditions prevail, mercury drops to 34.1 Deg C

New Delhi, Oct 6 (UNI) Continuing the trend of normal or below normal temperatures in Delhi over the last few days, indicative of the city's movement towards autumn, the mercury today dropped to 34.1 degree celsius.

Wintry weather conditions witnessed in Delhi since the beginning of the week prevailed today for with the maximum dropping further, from 35.1 degrees C yesterday, to 34.1 degrees C today, which is the normal temperature in the city at this time of the year.

With the morning remaining cool at 19.4 degrees C, two degrees below normal, the scorching Summer conditions seem a thing of the past.

As the Southwest monsoon withdrawing from Delhi earlier this week, cool mornings and Sunny days have marked the weather in the city over the past few days.

The Met office have forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to remain at 35 Degree C and 19 Degree C respectively tomorrow.

Sonia says party unfazed by election prospects

New Delhi, Oct 6 (UNI) Sounding the possibility of early elections, Congress President Sonia Gandhi today said her party was prepared to face the people. Canada says focused on boosting Afghan police

Armoury blast rocks Mozambique's second city
