Tension in Badaun after idols' desecration

Badaun, Oct 6 (UNI) Tension gripped the Faizganj Baheta area of this district of Uttar Pradesh after some unidentified anti-social elements desecrated idols at three different temples last night.

Police Superintendent R D Pathak today said, '' As many as 10 idols of the temples in Dhaniyavala village were desecrated by the anti-social elements late last night.'' Meanwhile, security has been stepped up to avoid any incident of violence in the area.
