Dubai court convicts three Indians for robbing colleague

Dubai, Oct 6 (UNI) Three Indians have been sentenced to three-year imprisonment each by the Dubai Criminal Court for robbing a colleague.

They would be deported after serving their jail terms, the Evening Post reported.

The victim, a clerk at the company where the three accused-- two masons and an electrician-- were working, said he was robbed of 52,000 dirhams of company's funds, a mobile phone and his passport in February while he was driving to the company's accommodation complex.

Hyderabad, Oct 6: City police today arrested 15 suspects, including five Bangladeshi nationals overstaying in the city, following intelligence alert that 'human bombs' had sneaked into the city to engage in subversive activities during the Ramzan season.
