'Left an ally of India's enemy forces'

Agartala, Sep 26: Congress leader in Tripura Ratan Lal Nath reacting to Left parties tirade against the proposed Indo-US nuclear deal, has said the CPI(M) was an anti-development party and an ally of India's enemy forces.

Addressing a public rally in north Tripura yesterday, Nath said the Left parties in India were known as friend of Pakistan and China, who had fought war against India.

He said China and Pakistan were opposing the Indo-US nuclear cooperation apprehending lose of their domination on this continent if India emerged a powerful nation with the US cooperation.

"Not only the policy makers, but also top scientists and diplomats of the country have underlined the need for Indo-US nuclear deal for sustainable development. But the so called communists are deliberately opposing it", Nath observed.

No China oppn to the Indo-US nuke deal: US

hats off to u mr ratan u have hit the nail on its head it is an open secret that cpm is opposing the deal at the instance of china and they have not uttered a single word when china had the arrogance to declare that arunachal is part of their country. an open enemy like pak and china are much better than such traiters. congress, go ahead with the deal. ur name will be inscribed in golden letters in the annals of indian history. god saves this country from unashamed enemies within. s muthusubramanian
