Young girl commits suicide

Jalandhar, Sept 3 (UNI) A young girl today committed suicide by hanging herself in her house at Kazi Mandi here, police said.

Police said that Rekha allegedly committed suicide as she was reportedly feeling humiliated when a woman called Rosy of the same locality had allegedly beaten her over some issue.

A case under section 306 of IPC was lodged against Rosy, who was at large, police said.

Jamshedpur, Sep 2 (UNI) A-24-year-old youth was beaten to death, allegedly by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) supporters, when they were celebrating party candidate Suman Mahto's victory in the Jamshedpur Parliamentary byelections at Sonari area here. Body of a US National found at star hotel in city

Hyderabad, Sept 3 (UNI) Police has recovered body of a US national, who allegedly committed suicide, in his room at ITC Kakatiya Sherton star hotel in the city today. Drowned youth's body recovered

Indore, Sep 3 (UNI) The body of one of the two youths, who drowned yesterday in the Patal Pani waterfall, about 25 km from here, was found this afternoon, police said. The body of Chirag Vagle (30), who was an engineer at Pithampur Industries, was recovered. Harish Mehtani's (18) body was recovered yesterday itself.
