Two killed in scrap dump exolosion in Jodhpur

Jodhpur, Sep 3 (UNI) Two people were killed and two children injured in an explosion in a metal scrap dump under Basni police station here today.

City Superintendent of Police Hawa Singh Dhumriya said the explosion took place in the morning while rag-pickers were collecting metal scrap from a dump. The deceased were identified as Papuram and his wife Heera Devi who died on the spot while their two children survived with injuries.

The seriously injured children were admitted to the governemnt hospital here.
