Mentally retarded youth commits suicide

Nashik, Sep 3 (UNI) A mentally-retarted youth committed suicide today by allegedly jumping from his house here.

The youth, Abdul Nayab Aktar (30), jumped from his house 'Ashirwad Pride' in the city's Datenagar area, police said.

He was taken to the civil hospital here, where the authorities declared him dead on admission.

Abdul was receiving treatment for some mental illness at Arihant Hospital in the city. He somehow escaped from the hospital and reached his house before jumping from the building.

The Gangapur police have registered the incident as 'sudden death' under section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), police added.

NWKSRTC planning ex-gratia for employees

List of repartriates from Telangana by month end: Minister

Hyderabad, Sep 3 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Minister D Srinivas today said the list of employees to be repatriated from the Telangana Region under GO 610, which provides for jobs to locals, will be ready by month end.
