Low pressure becomes less marked

Hyderabad, Sep 3 (UNI) Yesterday's low pressure area over west-central Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood has become ''less marked'' today.

Rain occurred at many places over Telangana and at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema in the last 24 hours, according to the Indian Meterological Department.

Venkatapuram (Khammam dist) had a heavy rainfall of 5 cm, followed by Palamaner (Chittoor dist) 4, Visakhapatnam, Eturnagaram (Warangal dist), Kodangal (Mahabubnagar dist), Mantralayam (Kurnool dist), Sompeta (Srikakulam dist) 3 each Moderate to rather heavy rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over Telangana in the next 24 hours. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the period, the IMD said.

BOR declares 20 pc dividend

Mumbai, Sep 3 (UNI) Private lender Bank of Rajasthan Limited (BOR) has said it would disburse 20 per cent dividend to shareholders.
