Fertiliser distribution be made more effective: Jamuna

Bhopal, Sep 3 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Assembly Opposition Leader Jamuna Devi today accused Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan of politicising chemical fertiliser issue and demanded that distribution procedure be made more effective and regularly monitored.

In a statement issued here today, Ms Devi said Mr Chouhan had been making political statements against the Centre with the objective of hiding inefficiency and irregularities in fertiliser distribution.

She demanded that all facts should be placed before the Prime Minister if there was any truth that the Centre was discriminating against the state regarding distribution of fertilisers.

Ms Devi alleged that black marketing was taking place in the absence of stern monitoring of distribution procedure and pointed out that farmers were being affected as a result.
