Cholamandalam DBS to raise Rs 200 cr through rights issue

New Delhi, Sept 3 (UNI) Cholamandalam DBS Finance Ltd today said it will raise Rs 200 crores through a rights issue of shares at an issue price of Rs 140 each.

The rights issue will be in the ratio of three new shares for every eight existing shares held, said a statement.

The company also said each rights share will carry a detachable warrant at a maximum price of Rs 275 on warrant conversion.

Jammu, Sep 3:Two teenagers, including a girl, were killed in an explosion in a field at Bani in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir last evening, police today said. The deceased identified as Pappu (13) and Champa Rani (16) were playing in the field when the sudden explosion occurred at Baljedi village, police informed. They died on the spot. Jammu, Sep 3: Security forces have unearthed five kg RDX explosive besides a large quantity of other ammunition hidden by militants in a remote village of Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, intelligence sources said today. Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of police and 54 Rashtriya Rifles recovered five kg of RDX, 12 Chinese hand grenades, four RPG ammunition, a Chinese pistol, one magazine and 12 cartridges from Gan village in Pouni block of Reasi yesterday, sources said. BEIJING, Sep 3 (Reuters) Chinese anti-graft investigators have found that 90 per cent of the country's most senior officials brought down in corruption cases in recent years had kept mistresses, drawing a link between sex and misconduct. Mistresses and ''second wives'' are common among government officials and businessmen in China and are often blamed for driving officials to seek money through bribes or other abuses of power.
