Birth anniversary of religious leader Phullo celebrated

Imphal, Sep 3 (UNI) The 119th birth anniversary of religious leader Naoriya Phullo was today observed in Manipur.

Mr Phullo, a Manipuri from Hailakandi of Assam, was pioneered to revive the Meitei religion in Manipur.

A function was also organised by Meelal, an organisation, which was attended by MLA O Joy.

Besides, an audio cassette of Phullo work was released by the MLA.
