Azad meets Ambika; Discuss tourism development in J

New Delhi, Aug 27 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today met Union Tourism Minister Ambika Soni and discussed tourism infrastructure development projects which are pending with the ministry.

Mr Azad sought immediate clearance of the projects, officials said.

The projects forwarded by the State Government to the Centre for funding, pertain to various tourism development authorities and tourist circuits in Jammu and Kashmir.

Ms Soni assured Mr Azad full support of the ministry fpr development of tourism in the State.

She proposed that a team of State officers would visit New Delhi in the first week of September for a review meeting followed by a similar visit by the Union Tourism Ministry officials to Srinagar in the second week of next month.

The Central and State officers, the Minister said, would discuss and clear the projects.

Two top commanders among 4 killed, RDX recovered in J and K
