New Delhi, Aug 21 (UNI) A colourful and hi-tech Children's corner was Inaugurated in Parliament Library today.
Inaugurating the Children's Corner, Lok Sabha speaker Somnath Chatterjee said it was another effort to bring the children into contact with our Parliamentary set up through literature that may interest them.
The objective, he said, was to inculcate and encourage good reading habits among children and to enable them to share the resources of the Parliament Library, one of the best in India, and the Parliament Museum and archives, which will be of great benefit to them.
With the estabishment of the Children's Corner in Parliament Library, there would be added attraction for the children to visit the Parliament complex, he said.
