K'taka Minister sustains minor injuries

Gulbarga, Aug 21 (UNI) Karnataka Agriculture Produce and Marketing Minister Sharanabasappa Gowda Darshanapur today sustained minor injuries when his car driver applied a sudden brake near Nidisinnor village in the district of Karnataka.

Police said the mishap occurred when the Minister was returning after visiting Surpur, where Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy made a night halt as part of his 'Village Stay' programme.

Mr Darshanapur was given first aid at the Government hospital here.

Physicists produce world's smallest lettering that is just 1.5 nanometers tall

London, Jan 27 (ANI): Physicists at Stanford University have produced the world's smallest lettering, which is just 1.5 nanometers (nm) tall, with the help of a molecular projector.According to a report in New Scientist, the new letters are around a third of the size of the atomic letters made in 1990 by Donald Eigler and Erhard Schweizer at IBM.The pair used a scanning tunneling microscope (STM) to push 35 xenon atoms across a nickel surface and spell out.....
